Due to being busy for the past several months with classes, I haven't made a lot of headway to getting any of my Websites live. However, during brief periods during the Summer 2011 Semester, I have been entertaining the idea of using either WordPress, Joomla!, or Drupal. After playing around with the the three, I have decided that I will build my Websites using the Drupal Content Management System. Until I became busy during the Fall 2011 Semester, I started working on a layout that I will use for my personal Website. Now that I am currently waiting for the Spring 2012 Semester to begin, I am going to put some more work into the layout. I hope to have my personal Website live before the end of 2012.

On March 15, 2011, I purchased christophereastman.com, and when my personal Website goes live, I will be using that domain name. www.chris-eastman.com will redirect to www.christophereastman.com, and I will be keep ownership of www.chris-eastman.com until at least 2013.

Although I'm sure no one continues to visit this Website, for those that do, I appreciate your patience as I work to getting my Websites live.

For the past several years, I have been developing Destroyer X Productions, a planned freelance Web Design and Web Hosting Website. This development has taken longer than expected due to me having to learn more about PHP and MySQL in order to make some aspects of the Website more automotated. In short, I'm learning more about being a programmer so I can have a more automated Website.

The venture began when I decided on using a PHP poll, but I didn't know how to make it work with my Website. From there, I decided to learn more about PHP and MySQL instead of paying someone to create a dynamic Website for me.

In addition, I have been learning more about coding in XHTML 1.0 Strict in order to make Websites that are more reliant on CSS to present Websites instead of using tables.

As far as the domains go that I currently own, http://www.destroyerx.com/ has been registered to me, Christopher Eastman, since March 6, 2007.

http://www.destroyerx.net/, the domain I plan on using to relaunch the Destroyer X Network, a Website that's dedicated to cartoons and gaming, has been registered to me since February 23, 2002.

http://www.chris-eastman.com/, the domain I plan on using for my personal Website, has been registered to me since January 1, 2010.

While some would question buying domains when I don't have a Website formed, those three domain names were purchased to avoid others from acquiring those domain names by the time I was ready to go live with my Websites.

The reason for this post is that I received an e-mail from Google that some of my Web pages can cause users to be infected with malicious software. As a result, I deleted all of my files from my Web server. As of March 5, 2010, the only pages that are currently on my server are index.html on my root folder, the pages in http://www.destroyerx.com/chris/ that I use for the domain http://www.chris-eastman.com/, and index.html at http://www.destroyerx.com/dxnetwork/.

In addition to this notice being posted at http://www.destroyerx.com/, I will be posting this notice at http://www.destroyerx.net/ and at http://www.chris-eastman.com/. The only access I'll have at get to my cPanel at this point is through bookmarking the link to my cPanel. As a further security measure, the password for my account has been changed to a much stronger password.

Furthermore, this year, I will be working more to bring my Websites live. The first Website that will become live will be my personal Website, then Destroyer X Productions, and finally, the Destroyer X Network. Most of the work will be done on my computer with files being uploaded behind-the-scenes until the Website is finally ready to go live.

I do apologize for any inconvenience I have caused during my long duration to getting my Websites live. I will be honest, I have been busy working, spending time with my girlfriend, and working on my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems. However, the notice I have received from Google has served as a wakeup call that I either need to be more serious about launching my Websites, or I need to cancel my HostGator account and let my domain names lapse.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience.
